Safety:

The Group endorses the road safety campaigns of Government and as such participates in the annual Driver of the Year competitions that are held on a Regional, Provincial and National basis.  For the last couple of years the Regional and Mpumulanga Provisional competitions were won by ourselves.  During the National competition of 2002 we have obtained the 2nd place.  During 2003 Midbank won the National Driver of the Year competition in both the men and women division.  Our driver Mr. Job Nene has as such represented South Africa during 2004 at the International Driver of the Year competition that was held in Croatia.  This is a major achievement if it is considered how small Midbank is comparing to other transport operators. 

A safe, neat and well maintained work environment is a prerequisite to ensure maximum productivity.  An ongoing process of investigating structures that can be introduced to ensure adherence to safety in the workplace
